MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Bucks center Myles Turner used his day off to inspire kids at MacDowell Montessori School in Milwaukee.

The lifelong Lego enthusiast helped guide the kids through a custom basketball-themed build, even signing the finished products.

Turner says he builds with around 100,000 bricks per year, even during the season, and hopes to inspire the kids.

"Being a Bucks player is huge. You know, seeing me on TV is one thing but seeing me in person is huge. I just want them to continue on with that creative expression...whether it's through Lego, whether it's through life, through reading, any sorts of STEM outlets, can't no one tell you how to live out your build," Turner said. "It's your passion, what you want to do."
