After a three-game, seven-day road trip Sunday, there’s nothing easy about next assignment for Oregon’s unbeaten Ducks: Wednesday’s women’s basketball rivalry game against Oregon State.
The Ducks (9-0) host the Beavers (5-3) in a 6 p.m. game at Matthew Knight Arena, their first meeting since UO defeated OSU 62-41 on Dec. 31, 2023, in Corvallis.
The two sides were unable to schedule a game last season after the Ducks left the Pac-12 for the Big Ten Conference, Graves said. Now the rivalry game is back.
“I think our fanbases deserve to have us play,” Graves told reporters. “I’m glad we worked it out.”
During their trip, the Ducks defeated Old Dominion and St. Mary’s in the Hoopfest Basketball Women’s Challenge in Frisco, Texas, before winning 58-53 Sunday at Auburn (8-1).
