Cinema in the City returns this weekend with a series of film screenings at The Old Schoolhouse Community Project in Huyton . The three-day event, aimed at all ages, celebrates "the power of stories to bring people closer together,” and is being hosted by FACT and Heart of Glass.

The weekend will kick off on Friday evening with Greta Gerwig’s star-studded adaptation of Little Women (2019), and Saturday evening will see Liverpool actor Stephen Graham starring in Boiling Point (2021).

Matinées will be shown on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, with animated family favourites Migration (2023) and Happy Feet (2006) sure to attract a full house.
