TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Thomas County Central football team is one of the top in the state of Georgia in AAAAA. They’ll play in the state semifinals next week.

The girls flag football team is making a name for themselves as well. In just their second season, the ladies finished the regular season 14-2 overall, and 12-0 in area play, with wins over Lowndes, Valdosta, and Thomasville, just to name a few.

The Jackets open postseason play Thursday, where they’ll host the first and second rounds of the Division Four playoffs, and to be so dominant in just year two of play is not shocking to anyone.
