Laura Woods has put fans' minds at ease through Instagram after fainting during live football coverage on Tuesday evening.

The renowned presenter, 38, was hosting England Lionesses' friendly clash with Ghana when she suddenly collapsed on air.

Quick-thinking pundits Ian Wright and Anita Asante caught her before ITV swiftly switched to a commercial break.

Katie Shanahan stepped in to replace Woods, confirming at the interval of England's 2-0 victory that she was "doing okay", whilst her fiancé Adam Collard also took to X to reassure concerned viewers about her condition.

Woods herself then addressed supporters through social media, apologising for causing alarm and confirming her wellbeing.
