It’s safe to say it’s a turbulent time to be a Penn State football fan.
The Nittany Lions have been looking for a new head coach longer than any other team after firing James Franklin back on Oct. 12.
In the almost two months since, Penn State has slow-played finding Franklin’s successor, and the school has been linked to a few promising candidates but never closed the deal on any of them.
Former James Madison coach Bob Chesney was believed to be the favorite to land the job at one time, but he’s since been hired for the same position at UCLA.
