ROCHELLE, Ill. (WREX) — A new resource is available at a rural hospital in Rochelle aiming to bring mental health options to a community currently with very little.

The Rochelle Community Hospital began offering mental health counseling earlier this year and officially cut the ribbon on the space Tuesday morning.

The hospital has hired on staff to take appointments and are dedicating offices to hold sessions in in the midst of their hospital expansion.

This comes as they work to bring more needed healthcare options to a community with their limited spots.
