BOSTON —

A man was shot and killed in East Boston Tuesday night.

The shooting occurred around 5:50 p.m. in the area of 27 Havre St.

According to Boston police, arriving officers found a man with a gunshot wound suffering from serious injuries.

The man was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

His identity is not being released at this time.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
