Fresh off a buzzer-beater win, Pitt was looking for its second win over a power conference opponent with Texas A&M visiting the Petersen Events Center. The Panthers seem to like end of game situations because in the past two they’ve been down by 10 in the second half only to keep it close in the final minutes.
This time it didn’t go in Pitt’s favor. Cam Corhen gave the Panthers the lead with just over five minutes remaining, but the team wasn’t able to sustain the momentum. The Aggies were able to pull ahead in the final minutes to win 81-73.
