CLEVELAND, Ohio – A 34-year-old Grafton man was fatally shot Monday at a smoke shop on Cleveland’s East Side.

Samir Santana was identified as the victim in the shooting that occurred at Proof Smoke Shop, located on Lakeshore Boulevard near East 156th Street, according to police and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.

The shooting happened about 11:30 a.m.

Paramedics took Santana to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police did not provide details on what led up to the shooting or say if any arrests were made in connection with the shooting.
