MESA, Ariz. — The Mesa community is getting a new library!
For the first time in 30 years, the Mesa Public Library is opening a brand new branch near Eastmark Mesa , and it is intended to serve southeast Mesa.
The Gateway branch will feature some hallmarks of Mesa libraries that patrons know and love, such as the "Stuffbrary," children's storytimes, and programming for all ages. But the library branch will also feature new technology, like Pixel Paseo, an interactive digital art display, and new THINKspot equipment, as well as a cashless payment system.
There will also be a Sensory Room for neurodivergent patrons, a Nursing Room for parents of infants, and multiple outdoor spaces. The branch will also have outdoor hold lockers, similar to the Mesa Express Library at Brady Park, that w
