FREESTONE COUNTY, Texas — A man has been arrested in Freestone County after allegedly stealing around $20,000 worth of aluminum pipe, according to the Freestone County Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office said Deputy Allen was sent to a theft call on CR 685 on Nov. 26, where approximately $20,000 worth of aluminum pipe had allegedly been stolen.
The Sheriff's Office said Allen investigated and learned where the stolen pipe had been sold and who sold it. She was later told that the man who had sold the aluminum had come back, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Allen, Lt. Darby and Sgt. Hill all went to the location and made contact with the suspect, the Sheriff's Office said.
