AUSTIN, Texas — Early Saturday morning, Stephanie Rodriguez got the call that every parent fears most.
"A detective called me telling me that my daughter had been found in a morgue, deceased," she said. "I was in disbelief. I yelled, I shouted, I told the officer that it wasn't true, that he was lying to me ... it was just devastation to the max. I was destroyed."
Investigators told her that her daughter, 19-year-old Brianna Aguilera, was at a tailgate in Austin on Friday night for the renewal of the University of Texas vs. Texas A&M football game rivalry. They told her that underage people were drinking alcohol at the party.
According to reports, Brianna ended up getting intoxicated and was kicked out of the tailgate. She ended up back at her friend's apartment in West Campus.
