VEAZIE, Maine (WABI) -The Hathaway Holiday Lights are back illuminating the skies above Veazie this year .

The 150,000-light display officially opened Tuesday evening at the Veazie Community School. It was a picture-perfect snowy start to the annual Christmastime tradition.

Visitors are invited to come walk along the path through the lights, or stay parked in their car to take it all in. There’s even a radio station — 88.1 FM — that plays music synched up with the flickering lights.

While the Hathaway Holiday Lights are free to attend, you’re encouraged to bring a donation. Every dollar collected supports Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center’s NICU.
