PARADISE VALLEY, AZ (AZFamily) — The Paradise Valley Unified School Board moved Tuesday to fire its embattled superintendent, Dr. Todd Cummings , after less than six months on the job.
The board voted unanimously to terminate Cummings based on a “statement of charges” listing 14 allegations of wrongdoing unless he files an appeal within 10 days.
The statement of charges includes allegations that Dr. Cummings violated the law and district policy, engaged in “insubordination,” had an “improper attitude,” and was “disrespectful” to district employees. While the board decided those claims would merit termination, it did not vote on whether the allegations were true.
