HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - In Henderson, the City-County Planning Commission met Tuesday night to hear more from the community about the proposed wind energy conversion system.

Officials collected documents and information gathered by both the public and by Cordelio Power, the company proposing the wind farm.

The seats were full at the meeting with many residents voicing concerns about how this project could impact their homes and land.

Some people say they’re worried the wind turbines could cause adverse health effects.

Commission leaders say they are wanting to look at all data and research about wind farms, both pros and cons.
