MADISON, Wis. --- Wisconsin Men's Basketball started the season ranked in the Top 25, but their non-conference schedule has had its ups and downs, including two tough losses before beginning Big Ten play. The Badgers struggled in their 'prove it' games, falling short against BYU and TCU, pointing to challenges that have tested the team.
Senior guard Nick Boyd is candid about what the team needs going into Wednesday's Big Ten opener. He stresses the importance of physicality and honesty with themselves. "No sugarcoating," Boyd said. "I mean, two teams, we played bigger teams. We shot away a little bit. You know, we got beat up a little bit down there. So it's pretty straightforward. Like, you know, we're going to have to man up or it's going to be a long year."
