Fire destroys home in Grimes County; No serious injuries reported

Crews from the Navasota Fire Department, Whitehall Community Volunteer Fire Department, and South Brazos County Fire Department were called to the scene, but flames engulfed the home.

No serious injuries were reported, and the American Red Cross responded to the scene to assist those impacted with immediate needs.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
