A whole lot of orange chicken just landed in Coon Rapids.

This week, Panda Express opened a new restaurant in the northern Twin Cities suburb.

The Dec. 1 opening included a ribbon cutting and a donation of $1,000 to the ACBC Emergency Food Shelf.

"We hope to be a lasting part of the community and welcome all guests into our doors to try our American Chinese favorites and discover their own," says Boris VillaBarros, the company's Area Coach of Operations

The location will serve all of the familiar Panda Express dishes, like Original Orange Chicken and Broccoli Beef, as well as the chain's current limited-time entrée, Crispy Sesame Shrimp and Beef.

The location is expected to add 40 jobs to the community, per an announcement from the company.
