TROY MILLS, Iowa (KCRG) - The No. 5 Springville girls basketball team snapped a seven-game losing streak to No. 13 North Linn, beating the Lynx 52-38.

With the win, Springville improves to 2-0, while North Linn drops to 0-1.

The North Linn boys team extended a long winning streak over Springville, beating the Orioles 67-43 with hot three-point shooting.

The Lynx start their season with a win, while the Orioles fall to 0-1.
