The Department for Work and Pensions boss has delivered a stark warning to all 24 million benefits claimants. Pat McFadden, the DWP boss, has said he won't rule out further cuts as he paved the way for the Labour Party government to trim the benefits bill.
Speaking to a cross-party committee, work and pensions secretary Pat McFadden told MPs that he was “not ruling out anything”. “I have only been in the job for three months, and if I start ruling things out it will just close doors in the future, so I am not ruling anything out,” he added.
