Road closures and roadworks are due in Darlington on December 3, with a number of streets set to be affected.

Motorists, residents, and businesses are being warned to prepare for disruption, as several locations across Darlington and nearby areas will see either road closures or traffic controls to allow for essential works.

Road closures and traffic controls scheduled

On December 3, Station Terrace in Middleton St George will be closed due to utility asset works undertaken by Northumbrian Water.

Workers are scheduled to carry out cleaning of the sewer, and although no excavation will take place, a full road closure is planned for the day.

Meanwhile, at the junction of Clifton Road and Geneva Lane/Worton Drive in Parkside, Darlington, multi-way traffic signals will be in operation. No
