Several areas in and around Darlington will be affected by scheduled maintenance and utility works this weekend, with some roads facing closures, lane restrictions and traffic controls.
The works, taking place on December 6 and 7, include core sampling, carriageway patching, sewer surveys and ongoing highway improvement projects, all of which are expected to impact local traffic.
Weekend Road Closures and Core Sampling Works
Bondgate, Freemans Place and Haughton Road
On December 6, Bondgate, Freemans Place and Haughton Road will all see stop/go boards in place as part of the coring programme.
These works will run along Bondgate from Bondgate Roundabout to Commercial Street, throughout Freemans Place, and from Freemans Place to No. 35 Haughton Road.
