MURRAY – This weekend in Murray will be packed with seemingly endless Christmas activities, with Main Street Merriment, the Rotary Club’s Light Up Murray Christmas parade and many other events offering fun for the whole family.
At 5:30 p.m., the Christmas tree lighting on the court square will kick off Main Street Merriment, presented by Kenlake Foods and Murray Main Street. Deana Wright, executive director of Murray Main Street, said that due to the large bushes around the courthouse, the tree has been moved slightly to the north, with it now standing right across the street from Rudy’s on the Square. As always, downtown retail businesses and churches will open their doors for holiday shopping and family-friendly activities such as cookie decorating, ornament and jingle bell necklace cra
