New Delhi: The Delhi MCD bypolls 2025 for 12 wards concluded with the BJP emerging as the dominant party, winning seven seats, while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) secured three wards, and Congress and the All India Forward Bloc claimed one ward each.

The bypolls, seen as a litmus test for the BJP after its victory in the Delhi Assembly elections earlier this year, witnessed counting begin at 8 am across 10 secure counting centres in the national capital. The State Election Commission of Delhi ensured tight security with round-the-clock CCTV monitoring, paramilitary deployment, and Delhi Police personnel at all locations.
