A proposed crackdown on fly-tipping in Solihull looks set to be launched after latest figures revealed thousands of incidents.

Solihull Council 's figures reveal that in 2024-2025 there were 3,024 fly-tipping incidents, down 752 on the previous year.

The authority investigated 140 incidents resulting in three prosecutions and seven fixed penalty notices.

And three major fly-tipping incidents were highlighted in a council report all taking place at a layby in Fen End Road where industrial waste was dumped and led to a successful prosecution in court.
