NEWCASTLE UNITED will assess the extent of Sandro Tonali’s latest injury setback today, with the Italian having been forced off at the half-time break of last night’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham.
Tonali played for the opening 45 minutes at St James’ Park, but failed to reappear after the interval as he was replaced by Bruno Guimaraes.
The midfielder will be assessed by Newcastle’s medical staff today, and is currently being regarded as a potential doubt ahead of Saturday’s home game with Burnley.
