A woman who had a near-death experience following a motorcycle accident claims she saw God - and it was nothing like she expected. ‌

Beverly Brodsky insists the God she encountered is nothing like what people envisage from reading the Bible, and says the experience forever changed her. ‌

Brought up in a conservative Jewish family in Philadelphia, Beverly was so horrified by the atrocities of the holocaust at the age of eight that she turned against God and became an atheist in 1958. ‌

However, her life took a dramatic turn at the age of 20, in 1970, when she was involved in a motorcycle accident near Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.
