Police have released CCTV footage following an incident involving a 16-year-old girl who was allegedly harassed by a stranger in a Sainsbury's store in Kimberley, Nottingham. The incident occurred on Sunday, November 9, around 3pm, while the teenager was shopping on Greens Lane. According to the girl, she noticed an unknown man staring at her inside the supermarket. After she left the store, the man approached her outside the nearby Card Factory. She reported that he began complimenting her and inquired about her home address, before discussing a property he owned. A shop worker intervened, which prompted the man to flee the scene. Nottinghamshire Police are now seeking assistance from the public to identify the man in the released image. PC Olivia Pettitt, who is leading the investigation, stated, "This behaviour is completely unacceptable and made the girl feel scared and intimidated. We take all reports of harassment and intimidation extremely seriously." The police have been actively pursuing various lines of inquiry since the incident was reported. They are urging anyone who recognises the man in the image or has any information to come forward. Individuals can contact the police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 0443 of 9 November 2025. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
