When employees of a liquor shop in Virginia came to work on Saturday, guess what they witnessed? Shelves were destroyed, liquor spilt across the floor. Now, of course, that scene possibly meant a burglary, but it was a raccoon that was to blame, as it slept in the bathroom after it had passed out because it possibly drank too much.

The mess initially looked like the result of a late-night thief, but a closer look pointed to the four-legged culprit that had apparently crashed through a ceiling panel and helped itself to the bottom rack, where scotch and whisky were stored, Associated Press reports.

The shattered bottles and puddles of alcohol suggested the animal had been on a wild spree before making its way to the restroom to collapse.
