Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday warned of dense fog in Sundargarh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Koraput, Jharsuguda, Balangir and Sonepur districts of Odisha till December 5 morning.

The weather agency has also forecast cloudy sky with possibility of light rain in Koraput, Ganjam and Gajapati till 5 pm pm on Wednesday (December 3) under the influence of the well-marked low-pressure area over North Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts and neighbourhood, which is likely to continue to move southwestwards slowly across north coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and weaken further into a low-pressure area during the next 24 hours. It has predicted a further drop in the night temperature by 2-3°C across Odisha during the next 2 days with no large change there
