A woman has turned to Reddit to express her annoyance after a neighbour made a cutting remark about her front garden. The keen gardener, posting under the username LumpyStarr , headed her message: "Neighbours hate my yard."

She detailed how she'd been working relentlessly to convert her front garden into a wildflower sanctuary, all whilst juggling a demanding full-time position. She posted: "I've been trying to make a native yard. I have several sage and monkey flowers, yarrow, coyote bush, etc."

Native British flowers include well-known varieties such as bluebells, primroses, cowslips, and foxgloves. Additional species comprise ox-eye daisies, ragged robin, and yarrow.
