BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - A Blacksburg Police Officer hit a pedestrian while responding to a call in the early morning of Wednesday, December 3, 2025, according to the Blacksburg Police Department.

The pedestrian was hit at the intersection of N. Main St. and Roanoke St.; the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, according police.
