Mark Labbett - aka The Beast - has pulled out of an upcoming appearance at London's Hippodrome

The Chase star Mark Labbett has withdrawn from an upcoming appearance due to "unforeseen circumstances".

TV presenter Hayley Palmer - who was romantically linked with the professional quizzer for a year before their relationship ended - shared on Instagram that the star, who is known as The Beast on ITV's The Chase , has pulled out of one of her shows.

Mark was due to reunite with his ex at London's Hippodrome in January, as part of her Audience with... series, reports the Express .
