A schoolboy was taken to hospital after a crash between a bike and a car. At around 5.15pm on Tuesday December 2, police were called to a collision on Lawton Road, near to Alsager Pharmacy on Lawton Road in Alsager, Cheshire.
Officers from Cheshire Police went to the scene and found there had been a crash between a black pedal cycle and a red Toyota Yaris. The cyclist, a 10-year-old boy, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Alder Hey Hospital by air Ambulance.
His injuries are not believed to be life-changing . The driver of the car was uninjured.
The 51 year-old from Crewe was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving. He has since been release under investigation pending further enqu
