Birmingham City Council has issued an update on empty tower blocks in a ‘forgotten’ estate amid claims they are attracting vandalism and fly-tipping.
The vacant blocks dominate the skyline of Druids Heath , which is set to be transformed in the coming years after the Labour -run council’s controversial regeneration plans were recently approved.
Residents began to be moved out of the blocks a number of years ago but the demolition of the buildings themselves has been delayed.

Green Party councillor Julien Pritchard, who represents the area, has claimed the empty blocks are still attracting vandalism, fly-tipping and graffiti.
