The 2025 N.J. girls volleyball season is a wrap. Below, have a look at the final Greater Middlesex Conference roundup and awards as part of the postseason honors package.
Player of the Year : Ashley Markle, Old Bridge, Jr.
Markle was one of eight players to reach 400 kills this season. Through three seasons, she is already at 985 for her career.
She also tabbed 157 digs and 98 aces. In the Group 4 state finals win over Westfield, Markle notched 29 kills and eight digs. It was her fifth 20-plus kill performance of the year.
Team of the Year : Old Bridge (33-1)
Finishing No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, Old Bridge rushed to their first-ever state championship. The Knights did so in a 3-2 thrilling finish over Westfield, which was a rematch of the 2022 state finals.
