They were one of the most iconic bands of the sixties, with a swagger and sound like no other.

And now the iconic hits of The Kinks are being celebrated in south Wales, in a week-long run of a musical telling the band's fascinating story.

Sunny Afternoon has arrived at Swansea Arena, and explores the rollercoaster up-and-down life and times of the rock and roll hall of famers, who are forced to navigate the sometimes tumultuous consequences of stardom, and accepting the reality of losing their old life as "scruffy working-class oiks", to being catapulted to fame after their 1964 hit You Really Got Me put the world on notice.
