Glasgow firefighters are 'spreading festive cheer' this Christmas by supporting a charity toy appeal for underprivileged children.
Fire stations across the city are taking toy donations for local charity Spirit Aid’s festive appeal, which will be delivered across Glasgow's communities this Christmas to ensure no child thinks they're on Santa's naughty list this year.
Each of Glasgow’s 11 stations will be drop off points for donations of new, unwrapped toys, which will then be distributed directly to families who need them most this Christmas .
Station Commander Graeme Morrow said: “We’re calling on the generosity of the public to support our cause and help to bring some light and hope during this festive season.
