TRAL, December 03 : Wildlife teams successfully handled two separate black bear incidents on Wednesday in the Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district after swift action by Control Room Tral and Control Room Khangund. One bear was located in Mandoora Tral and the other in Aligund Tral.

In the first case, the bear found in Mandoora appeared weak and required immediate care. The team secured the animal without difficulty and shifted it to Dachigam for treatment. The second bear, detected in Aligund, was in good health. It was safely captured and released back into suitable habitat after assessment, Officials told Kashmir Convener.
