Suhail Khan Srinagar, Dec 03: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has issued a consolidated set of instructions, reiterating and amplifying earlier orders governing the sanction of ex gratia relief under Security Related Expenditure for persons affected by law and order disturbances. According to Government Order No. 1716-JK(GAD) of 2025 a copy of which is with Kashmir Convener, the government has prescribed a detailed structure for financial assistance across various categories of personnel and civilians. Under the order, magistrates and police personnel will be entitled to ex gratia relief as follows: magistrates will receive twenty lakh rupees in case of death, police personnel five lakh rupees in case of death, special police officers five lakh rupees in case of death
