Alan Patrick Daniel Rindfleisch

By Zak Failla From Daily Voice

Alan Patrick Daniel Rindfleisch was home with his family the night before Thanksgiving when everything changed.

His death the day before was sudden and unexpected, loved ones said, as he leaves behind his high school sweetheart, four kids, and a community that is looking to rally around them.

Rindfleisch is being remembered as a devoted husband. A father of four. A man with, in Amanda Nadolski’s words, “an unimaginable number of real friends who meant the world to him.”

His marriage to wife Jennifer Rindfleisch stretched back to high school and grew through 20 years of life together, Nadolski said. Their love sits at the center of every tribute pouring in.

And now, in the middle of this heartbreak, his wife and children are suddenly facing funeral expenses, daily needs, and the kind of emotional and financial pressure that comes with losing the center of a family.

Nadolski wrote in a GoFundMe set up for the family that Alan’s “sudden passing has left his loved ones facing both the emotional pain of his absence and the immediate challenge of covering funeral expenses and daily living costs.”

She added that “your prayers, love, and generosity are deeply appreciated as the Rindfleisch family navigates this unimaginable loss.”

The grief has stretched far beyond their home.

As news spread, Jennifer shared a photo of Alan doing what he loved, spending time outdoors on the water.

“My best friend, my soul mate, and the father of our incredible children passed away suddenly at our home last night, 11/26," she posted. "I am overwhelmed with the support, calls, and texts. I can't thank you all enough.”

The family later announced that services will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Clifton.

Friends haven’t held back about what Alan meant to them.

Alyson Franca Pollard wrote, “Hearts are broken. We have seen the power of community shine; it’s time. Jen, we love you and Brady so big, and the rest of your babes.”

Jonathan Hurley said the loss hit especially hard.

“Alan Rindfleisch was a great guy — a friend to many, a devoted husband, and a father of four.”

He said they went to Robinson together and talked about how their own children now walk those same halls.

“It was always a joy to see Alan and Jen at school events and around the community,” he wrote. “This one hits especially close to home.”

The GoFundMe is filled with messages, support, and reminders of how wide his circle was. Nadolski wrote that “Alan’s friendships were deep and genuine,” and that his kindness “touched everyone who knew him.”

She said the family is grateful for “your prayers, love, and generosity.”

More than $30,000 has been raised in just four days after the fundraiser was kick-started.

"Now, in the midst of this grief, Alan’s wife and children need the support of their community more than ever," Nadolski added. Any donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden they are facing."
