An 18-year-old Freehold Township resident, currently jailed for a stabbing on Thanksgiving, has now been charged with attacking a woman who was pushing a stroller in Howell, authorities announced Tuesday, Dec. 2.
At 4:55 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 17, the woman was walking with her 2-year old child in a stroller on Pinewood Road near Cecilia Court when she was approached from behind by Jaden Thompson, placed in a chokehold and thrown to the ground, Howell police said.
Thompson is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault, police said.
On Saturday, Nov. 29, Thompson was apprehended in Jackson after he stabbed a woman inside an apartment on Thanksgiving, Jackson police said.
He is charged with attempted murder and remains incarcerated in the Ocean County Jail.
