Ed Orgeron has moved back to Louisiana, and he likes the idea of joining Lane Kiffin 's football staff at LSU .

Orgeron went on 1010 XL/92.5 FM station in Jacksonville, Florida, on Tuesday to discuss the Tigers' latest hire of Kiffin and then, if he’d join the staff if the opportunity came about.

"I'd consider it, yes," Orgeron said. "I'd definitely consider it. No question. Lane and I have worked together at three schools. I love him. He and I are good friends; I believe in him. So definitely, if he does ask me, I’d consider it. No question.”
