ORLANDO, Fla. – Just a year after part one of “Wicked” was released in theatres, part two of the musical saw even more success.
According to studio estimates, “Wicked: For Good” earned $150 million from North American theaters in its first days in theaters and $226 million globally.
Not only is this the biggest opening ever for a Broadway musical adaptation, but part 2 also brought some new faces, including Scarlett Spears. Scarlett Spears portraying Young Glinda in "Wicked: For Good." (Universal Pictures)
The 8-year-old from Orlando played young Glinda in the film. During her scenes, she really shed some light on what Glinda’s childhood was like before she became “the Good Witch.”
She also served as a great reminder of where Glinda came from later on in the movie.
