Safety concerns regarding an open alley between Ririe Elementary School and it's playground have brought the Ririe City Council and School District #252 together in an effort to find a solution and keep students safe.

Councilmember Robert Johnson visited with the Ririe School District Board of Trustees on Nov. 20 to gain an understanding of their concerns and to encourage them to come up with potential solutions to bring to the Ririe City Council for consideration.

"We need to know about what those issues are before we can make changes," Johnson stated at the meeting.
