Adopt-A-Family Stratford is looking for sponsors to help make Christmas a little merrier.
Ashley Woods helped start the program in 2020 to help struggling families during the first COVID-19 Christmas. It was supposed to be a one-time initiative to fill gaps created when pandemic restrictions hurt organizations tasked with assisting those in need.

“The community has been really great about trying to help this program flourish,” said Woods, one of three administrators along with her husband, Dan, and Michell Jackson. “We really didn’t think the program would grow the way it has. We thought it would help a few people.”
It’s done much more.
Since 2020, Adopt-A-Family Stratford has dispersed thousands of dollars worth of gifts and food to low-income families in the city
