CHICAGO (WLS) -- A CTA bus hit and killed a woman Wednesday morning on Chicago's South Side, Chicago police said.
The bus was in the 7000-block of South South Shore Drive just before 8 a.m. in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood when it started moving from being stopped, CPD said.

The woman appeared to have slipped, and the bus hit her, police said.
She was pronounced dead on the scene, CPD said.
No one else was injured, and Chicago police are investigating.
