A school bus has had its roof ripped off in a crash with a low bridge, leaving several children with injuries today (Wednesday).
Police, paramedics and firefighters rushed to the scene of the incident shortly after 12.30pm. The double-decker bus collided with a low bridge on Spendmore Road in Coppull, near Chorley in Lancashire, reports LancsLive .
Officers said 'a number of children suffered injuries ' in the collision which are 'thankfully thought to be relatively minor at this time'. They are currently being assessed by paramedics.
