Owen Reynoso's stability helps vault program to championship bid this Saturday against Casteel

While the results look similar and successful from the outside, it has been a tumultuous three years for Centennial football.

Players and coaches arrived and left, some of them in very unexpected ways, and coaches kept the program afloat and the Coyotes qualified for state title games. And all of them had running back Owen Reynoso to rely on.

He has played a key role in the playoff runs to the 2023 Open Division final and the 2024 6A title. The Coyotes do not return to the 6A title game - which kicks off at noon Saturday, Dec. 6 against Queen Creek Casteel – without their senior leader.
